About Me
Hello, my name is Ellie. I am in 11th grade at a small school in the Northwest side of America. I have been doing theatre since I was 8 years old including musical theatre, plays, and improv. Besides doing theatre I dance, play guitar, ukulele, piano and paint. I am also a big sewer and have made and worn some of the pieces that I have made.  I am an advocate for mental health and LGBTQ+ rights, among other things, being very passionate about many social justice topics. Theatre has been a very big part in my life, it has helped me evolve into the person I am today. Some previous shows I have been in include Bye Bye Birdie, Pirates of Penzance, Young Frankenstein, and Peter Pan.

 GOals

My first goal for IB Theatre is to improve as an actor. I want to learn about different theorists and apply their different teachings to my own acting abilities in order to improve my abilities. Another goal I have is to learn more about the history of theatre. I know a little bit about this but I definitely want to expand my knowledge. My final goal that I have for IB theatre is to expand and learn more about costume design. This is the other major aspect of theatre that I am interested in, besides acting, as I sew and love fashion in general. If possible, I would like to try working in costume spheres of theatre and learning more about how to costume actors. I hope that these goals will help me advance my theatre experience outside and beyond high school into my extracurricular activities and my college experience.
